Since early this morning, BRNA troops led by General Naga have been attacking the military council troops in Pale town, Sagaing Region. BRNA is based in the Yinmabin area of Pale and is an independent revolutionary group not under the NUG. Since this group has both strength and reputation, it is worth watching as it tries to capture Pale town. Local revolutionary forces tried to capture Pale town last August, but they only managed to control it for a day. Since it is only about 30 miles away from the military council’s Northwestern Regional Headquarters in Monywa, it is not easy to capture and control the town.
