Hip-hop singer Bhu Har was arrested for criticizing the military council on social media. Singer Byu Har was arrested at his home using a lot of force after criticizing the severe power outages in Yangon on his Facebook page compared to the situation during Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s government. I am not sure what section he will be charged with, but it is likely that he will be charged with Section 505 of defamation. Under the military council, the people have completely lost their right to free speech. It’s a military council that has nothing to admire.
