KNDF joint forces are attacking four villages where military council troops are stationed in De Mosso township in Kayah state. The revolutionary groups have told the villagers not to go back into the village yet because of the landmines left by the military council. However, the military army returned with three columns of force to recapture the areas they had retreated to. These days, they are attacking with air and cluster missiles. The KNDF is attacking the rebel forces on the side of Loikow, where the situation has been calm for a long time.
In Kayah state, the revolutionary groups have not been able to launch an offensive for a long time. From the position of only resisting the offensives of the military council, it is now possible to fight back in part. But we will have to try to compete with the armed rebels in the long run.
