AA has officially announced a ceasefire with the military council. As before, only Sasakawa of the Japan Nippon Foundation acted as an intermediary. Even though there was a ceasefire, both sides stopped where they arrived and stopped fighting. There is no firm agreement between the two sides. AA side said that they had reached a ceasefire because of the fighting between AA and the Arakan people. As a result, there has been a shortage of goods in Rakhine, and it has become a situation where it is not even possible to buy medicine. Therefore, it is known that AA has made this decision to make the people of Rakhine feel better. For now, the army has opened some waterways and the land roads are still blocked.
There are various criticisms about AA’s ceasefire with the army. Some still follow AA. The people said that AA had betrayed the revolution. Some people say that because AA is following his own path, he can just watch the light as he likes. Actually, AA has nothing to do with the NUG. No agreement has been taken. We can’t tell him anything because he can create his own destiny freely. In any case, when AA stopped fighting in Rakhine, it weakened its strength for the revolution.
