The office of the People’s Defense Organization in Pulay Township, Sagaing Division, was attacked by air raids. Helicopters and soldiers dropped and shot at them. There was no harm to the PDFs because they had received the information in advance. They had to give up the office and office equipment. The military council informers and those who committed the shooting were taken away by the military. Some were killed on the spot. As the rebels continued to march around the area, a fierce battle broke out with the PDFs and about 30 rebels were killed. The column retreated with helicopters.
Myoung Township was hit by a similar plane and had to miss a PDF camp. The people were not harmed, but the camp was captured and the weapons and ammunition were lost. Since the rebels in Sagaing and Magwe are no longer able to attack from the ground, they have changed their strategy of attacking from the air. Revolutionary groups need to find a way to counter this.
