Yesterday, a group of defense forces attacked the rebels who had been captured by the local residents of Ringpao Tai village as human shields. Because the slection forces were gathering and attacking, they were about to return to the village when the military’s air support arrived and they retreated. The rebels resisted by sending reinforcements from the nearby village of Pyu Saw Hti by helicopter.
Today, the rebels have retreated from the village because the situation is not good. When the defense teams entered the village and cleared it, they found more than twenty bodies of innocent people killed by the army. They even killed cattle.
