Yesterday, a group of people came in front of the homes of the Ko Jimmy and Ko Zaya Thaw families in Yangon, yelling abuse and throwing stones at them. It is very rude and inhuman behavior to do this to a dying house. This action must have been done by hired idiots from the military council. Before, they were the only ones committing this kind of act.
Today, in front of Yangon City Hall, a crowd claiming to support the military held a rally in support of the death penalty. The army provided security for the event. Never before have I been so supportive of the death penalty. The military council is just re-using the old methods used long ago. But cannot be underestimated. They are preparing to continue the trial of about forty political prisoners who are still in prison after holding these so-called support rallies. If some effective response is not made in time, the rest will surely continue to be judged.
