Last night, the military council soldiers invaded and destroyed the Hledan market, which is a crowded place in Yangon city. Around 8:00 p.m., three inflatable cars and about forty rebels arrived and destroyed and burned everything they saw. The vendors ran away with their cars in shambles. They beat the vendors who couldn’t run. They also tried to open the doors of the shops on the ground floor. The rebels destroyed the market for no reason. The other day, the youth held a sudden strike in the market, and some people commented that the army is now invading and destroying the market because the vendors supported the strike.
In Ukrit, KNDO intercepted the special commando column of the army that came to help, and at least twenty rebels were killed and fled on the road. We got a lot of weapons and ammunition. I can’t tell if the army came to donate weapons and ammunition like they donated to the NUG and the people’s resistance groups. Lol!
