At least 17 youths were killed when gunmen opened fire on them in a village in Gangaw town in western Sagaing Division. Insurgents stormed the village, firing on the youths, accusing them of being PDFs. Such incidents are commonplace in rural areas. The military continues to commit acts of violence, including village-to-village raids and arson. The NUG has reported these incidents to the UN, but so far the UN has not been able to do anything about it. That is why NUG has officially declared the world to fight on behalf of the whole nation.
