In Mandalay’s Myingyan Township, the village administrator of Thabyay Thar Village was shot dead by unknown attackers at his home.
A newlywed bridegroom was injured in a parcel bomb explosion at his wedding in Mandalay. In a similar incident in Yangon on May 25, four people including the newlywed bride died.
In Kayah State, a volunteer cook for war-displaced people was killed in a shooting by junta troops.
In Pathein, the capital of Ayeyarwady, a policeman died in an armed altercation with a colleague. It was the second incident of its kind after a police constable fatally shot his superior in Sagaing on May 24.
A bomb exploded outside the military-owned Innwa Bank in Shan State’s Taunggyi. On May 27, a soldier was killed in an explosion at the local signal battalion of the military regime in Taunggyi.

Regime forces killed a man and arrested his three brothers during a midnight raid in Bagan Myothit in Mandalay Region. Ko Moe Myint Aung, 26, is survived by his pregnant wife. His three brothers, including a 17-year-old, were beaten and detained.
The empty house of a National League for Democracy (NLD) campaigner was set on fire by unidentified men in Meiktila Township on Sunday morning during the curfew. Junta troops raided the house on April 29 looking for the activist, whom they accuse of leading anti-regime protests.
An explosion took place near the Butaryone bus stop on Insein Road in Yangon’s Hlaing Township. A nearby fitness center’s front entrance was damaged but no casualties were reported.
An ethnic Chin resident of the township was detained by junta troops for allegedly taking pictures of the scene after a blast occurred on the ground floor of his apartment block.
An explosion took place at the house of a 100-household administrator who is reportedly a military collaborator, in No. 5 Ward of Shwepyithar Township.

A woman was injured when two bombs exploded in Nyaungdon, Ayeyarwady Region. A bomb exploded outside the ward administrator’s house near a basic education school in Myaungmya.
Anti-regime protests continued across Myanmar, and Myanmar nationals and democracy supporters in the US gathered in New York’s Times Square on Sunday to show solidarity with Myanmar’s National Unity Government and oppose the Myanmar regime.
In Sagaing Region, explosions were reported outside the office of the Katha District education officer and a basic education middle school.
