The military council wants to show that the country is back to normal, so it is holding the festival of the Tasaungdaing all over the country. The more they do that, the more people don’t accept it.

The fireworks display, which had been suspended for two years in Pyin Oo Lwin, was officially opened by the Military Council this year. More than sixty balloons are planned to be launched. However, since the opening day, no one from the town except them has come. Since there was no crowd, the gambling and drinking circles were included in the military council’s own fireworks display. It is known that the gambling circles were contracted by a military captain. Pyin Oo Lwin Balloon Festival is a traditional festival and has no connection with gambling circles. The military council is deliberately trying to destroy the image of the festival and the morals of the people. Even if it’s crowded, they’re acting like they can do anything bad.

In Bago City, the Tasaungdaing Festival is being held next to the Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda. No one came, so they forced people to move, and they spread propaganda by taking pictures of the crowd. When the strikes were strong in Bago City, about eighty civilians were killed in one day when the army violently broke them up. The residents of the city had to lower their pride because they had no weapons to protect, they were heartbroken over the military council.
