Today is the one-year anniversary of NUG declaring a nationwide war of resistance. In this one year, more than twenty thousand soldiers of the military council were killed. In the real field, the casualties could be even more. If we count the casualties of the military council as around 30,000 and the total strength of the army as approximately 300,000, it means that the army’s strength has been destroyed by 10 percent in this one year. For the entire fascist army to collapse, about 30 percent would need to be destroyed. But the revolutionary period will not last as long as three years. It is said that about three hundred million dollars of the revolutionary fund is required for the coming year. In this one year, even though we are looking for it in every way, we still only get about one hundred million dollars, and it is really not easy to get the three hundred million they say. All that money comes from the people, and people at home and abroad are already too tired to help. It may be more convenient to get some foreign aid.
In addition, the People’s Defense Forces lost more than 1,500 casualties in this one year. If only the military had not seized power, there would be no reason for so many of the young people the country would rely on to fall away. Even so, the number of people who died due to arbitrary arrests and shootings by the military is still not on the list. Because of this, we need to have a quick revolution.
