The UN Special Representative Noah Hazelin came to Myanmar without any prior announcement and suddenly met with the terrorist leader Min Aung Hlaing. She said that she did not go to recognize the military council, but nothing came out of it. She only repeated her desperate requests to the military council to refrain from violence again, and no action has been taken after those requests. The pictures of her laughing and shaking hands with Min Aung Hlaing, covered in blood, only disappointed the people of Myanmar.
In fact, her trip only benefited the two of them. As the UN Special Representative, Noah Hazelin, she gained a political advantage that she was able to visit Myanmar during her lifetime.
UM and ASEAN are sure that they have absolutely no ability to intervene in the Myanmar issue at the moment. They should give up. The work they are doing on the surface will only bring political gain to the military council.
