The battle to take over the military council’s Ukrit camp on the Thai border continues to intensify for the fifth day. Unlike the previous camps, the army has been resisting with airstrikes and heavy weapons. Last night, the news came out that the camp had been captured, but they only managed to capture the weapons hill and other bunkers, so it was not possible to completely capture it, and they continued to defend themselves from the last remaining sniper hill. As the battle progressed, there were casualties on both sides, and the KNU coalition has lost about 13 casualties so far. Because they have to use a lot of weapons and ammunition, NUG donated about one million baht just yesterday. At the moment, Le Ke Ko is fighting alongside the famous Cobra column and is trying to get the last remaining sniper hill.
The current battle has become the fiercest battle in KNU territory during the Spring Revolution, and that camp hill is very important to the dignity of both sides.
