Fighting continues in KNU Brigade Six area, and in Brigade Fisheries Area Hpapun. Many were killed and captured as a result of a sniper attack on a military council, and many weapons were confiscated. The whole battalion was disbanded. The military is still expanding its forces without any notice.
International crude oil prices have fallen again in recent days, but domestic oil prices have not fallen significantly. It is still above 2,000 MMK per liters. Some petrol taxis in Rangoon have run out of steam. Taxis driven by GAS also have to wait in line at GAS shops due to power outages.
