Martyr’s Day. A UNHCR convoy arrived in Mindat, Chin State today (19.07.2021). Starting tomorrow and throughout the rest of the week, UNHCR will be distributing non-food items including tarpaulins, mosquito nets, sleeping mats, blankets, kitchen sets, solar lamps and personal protective equipment for COVID-19 prevention, among other items. Up to 5,000 people (1,000 households) are expected to benefit from the much-needed assistance. I do not know what this means, but it is a time when the people of Burma really need help.
