May 1 is one of the holidays but the people are not resting. Demonstrations are taking place everywhere with the guerrilla system. I saw a protester sang Tway Thit Saw song on the bus. Protesters holding signs saying that Yangon residents have returned in the rain. It is admirable that all the young people protested out of the darkness, shouting, “Are our people the same idea?” On the other hand, the military dictatorship release lots of rumors such as re-enable mobile data, enrollment or promotion exams. In the tug-of-war between the people and the rebels, the people did not give up at all. The people are realizing that this is not a battle that can be ended in a short period of time, as we had hoped.
