The military regime has bombed a school in Depayin Township, Sagaing Region, where hundreds of displaced people are sheltering. The school is home to about 500 displaced people. There are reports of injuries from the bomb, but details are not yet known.
The previous day, the military regime had bombed a teahouse where Myanmar women’s soccer teams were watching a SEA Games match, killing 18 people, including women and children, and injuring more than 40. The military regime has been bombing schools, hospitals, religious buildings, and public gathering places across the country indiscriminately. The NUG reported that 130 civilians, including more than 30 children, were killed and more than 260 injured in the past month due to the regime’s bombing.
