It was announced today that 19 rebel groups from various regions that are fighting the Military Commission have joined forces and formed an alliance called the SRA. The group includes the KNDF from Karenni State, the CB from Chin State, and the Burmese Revolutionary Army (BPLA), which are moderate in strength, and the rest are small local PDF groups. It is unique that groups that are not under the NUG can form such an alliance. I think that the problem of shortage of ammunition mentioned yesterday can be solved reasonably by forming such an alliance.
