Three armed groups in Karen State have announced that they will support the election to be held by the Military Commission. The BGF, DKBA and Karen Peace Council have been cooperating with the Military Commission for a long time without attacking it. The BGF and DKBA are engaged in extensive propaganda activities. These groups do not want the Military Commission to be upset. They are afraid that their interests will be damaged if they oppose the Military Commission. Therefore, they have announced that they will support the election. Therefore, only the KNU group remains in Karen State, which is fighting against the Military Commission. The revolutionary situation in Karen State is alarming because the Karen armed groups are not united.
