The United Wa State Army (UWSA), the largest ethnic armed group in Myanmar, has announced that it will no longer provide weapons or financial assistance to any group. The Wa group provided military support to the AA, MNDAA, and TLNA groups during the 1027 war. It also accepted war refugees. Now, it is said that it is no longer possible to continue providing assistance due to strong pressure from China. China has been supporting these groups since the 1027 war, so it has cut off trade flows to Wa State and taken action. Later, it has seized the assets of Wa State people in China and is taking strict action. That is why the Wa leaders have made this announcement.
