A village school in Depayin Township, Sagaing Region was bombed by the military council, killing more than 20 students and teachers. The military council directly bombed the school. The students who died were in primary school and were only 10 or 12 years old. The area is under the control of revolutionary groups, so it is not possible to study properly due to continuous airstrikes. The bombing occurred just as the exams were being prepared. It is known that more than 40 people were injured.
The military council has committed such acts of violence not once, not twice. This is a terrible tragedy that all people are suffering every day. Can the international community not take effective action against the government that is committing such acts of violence, or if so, have the countries that support it not seen such brutal and cruel acts? It is very uncomfortable to see scenes of children dying in droves.
