The National Union of Myanmar (NUG) announced that the areas under the control of the revolution received 472 billion kyats in auctions and fines and about 17 viss of gold from the mining, gemstone and forestry sectors in the past year 2024. If we calculate it based on the local gold price of around 60 million kyats in 2024, 16.94 pisas (viss) of pure gold will earn about 10 billion kyats, which means that almost five hundred billion kyats have been received. Previously, the funds were raised through donations from the public, treasury bonds, and the sale of land, but now that these areas are under the control of the revolution, the funds have increased. It is necessary to use these funds effectively for the revolution without wasting them.
