The military regime targeted people who were shopping in the market of Letpan Hla village, Singu Township, Mandalay Region, which is occupied by the revolutionary forces, with fighter jets bombing and killing 27 local residents. The airstrike took place at 3 pm yesterday and one of the bombs fell directly on a tea shop, according to locals. Some of the injured are in critical condition.
Letpan Hla village is a densely populated village on the Mandalay-Mogok road with thousands of houses. The military council wants to instill fear in the people because it is not a military issue, so the military regime is continuing to bomb and kill without any fighting in Singu Township. Since the revolutionary forces occupied Singu town, the military regime has carried out at least seven aerial bombings and killings.
