The power outage situation in Myanmar is already very bad in December, the beginning of winter. Many townships in Yangon have extended the power outage from 9 pm to 11 pm. Last year, the power outage was only effective after April, the hottest time of the summer, but this year, it has been cut off earlier.
The power outages are also irregular. They come and go, and they go. At least 12 to 14 hours a day are out. Industrial zones have been receiving only 4 hours of power a day since November. We thought we would experience this situation by March, but it has happened earlier now.
