With border gates blocked, most towns controlled by the rebel groups in northern Shan State are experiencing shortages of goods. Major commodities such as consumer goods, food, and medicine are in short supply. The worst is fuel. Many businesses have been shut down due to fuel shortages.

These areas are surrounded by China in the north and the military council in the south. China has also strictly prohibited trade with the Wa region in the east, closing all trade routes.

We should find a way to resolve this issue as soon as possible. The people will have to wait as long as they can. Otherwise, they will have to bow to the military council and China.
