The military council is preparing to launch another offensive against Karenni State. A convoy is coming from southern Shan State and is trying to regain control of Loikaw town. It is the first time since the 1111 operation by the Karenni resistance groups that they are re-offensive. The military council has recaptured Sesai, a town controlled by PLNO forces in Mount Shan. As the forces gathered in that city and slowly advanced into the Karenni state, there were almost daily battles on the Shan Karenni border. Currently, there are about 500 forces gathered in Sisai town and about 2,000 forces in Loikko town. In this offensive, the military council used drones, so the revolutionary groups were taking care of it. Some parts of Loikow City, which previously controlled almost the entire city, were returned, and the revolutionary groups now control only 50 percent of the city. The fighting in Karenni State could intensify as the military council tries to gain full control of Loikaw.
