It has been more than 10 days since the Military Council promulgated the conscription law. Until now, that impact still has a great impact on the people. For more than 10 days, the revolutionary organizations have not been able to make an effective response to the emergence of the law. The military organizations invited the youth to join the PDF to come to the liberated areas and fight against the military council. The NUG ended with a no-obligation. Their responses are not an answer to lost youth. If effective responses to the military council have not yet appeared by this time, it is unlikely that more will appear.
In fact, I see only two ways to effectively respond to the Military Council’s conscription law. The first method is constant military pressure and the second method is a general strike. At the moment, to put continuous military pressure on the military council, after the 1027 war has stopped, the war has decreased throughout the country except for Rakhine State. In order to put pressure back on the military council, another wave like Operation 1027 is needed. The second and third method, the public strike, is still a long way off. It is absolutely impossible for the people to protest in the streets under the guns of a brutal military group. Therefore, even if people want to strike, there is no leaderless organization or person in the current political field. At this point, there is still a slight possibility of military pressure. Therefore, before Thingyan, when the military council’s military recruitment begins, there is a need to develop a major offensive that will put pressure on the military. If we can’t launch a major offensive before the rain, the people’s lives will be ruined by whatever the army does.
