Since the beginning of the 1027 operation, the fighting in Chin State has been calm, but the capture of Reed Khodar in the first game is the first success of the city capture battle in Chin State.
On the third and fourth day of the ‘11.11 operation’ in Karenni (Kayah) state, where the fighting is intensifying, the 425th and 6th battalions of the 425th and 6th divisions of the military council stationed in the Loikaw University courtyard were killed, and the last remaining soldiers surrendered and confiscated their weapons and ammunition.
It has been informed that almost the entire battalion including the commander and deputy commander of the Military Council’s (425) Khmer (425) battalion deployed during the battle of the Loi Ka University campus all day on November 14th, and nearly half of the Khmer (6) forces were defeated. On November 15th, the Khmara (6) forces that remained in the campus of Loikaw University attacked from the morning, and in the evening, after giving the rest of the military council a chance to surrender, the 32 military council soldiers in charge surrendered.
The military council is trying hard to prevent the revolutionary forces from taking control of Loikaw city. Bombed from the air every half hour all day long. It is still happening today. Another thing is that the military council is using the public as a human shield. At present, some teachers and students are still trapped in Loiko University. Karenni resistance groups are still trying to evacuate them.
