Northern Shan State, MNDAA officially announced that Brigadier General Aung Zaw Lin, commander of the Military Council’s No. 12 Operation Command, was shot and killed in the Kokang area. MNDAA continued to clear the remaining members of the Military Council’s forces who had broken down in the Kokang area and were fleeing in the forests and mountains. A badge of the rank of Brigadier General was found on his corpse, and it was confirmed that the deceased was Aung Zaw Lin, the commander of the 12th Battalion.
