Burmese expatriates from other countries, including New York City, are holding marches and rallies for the continued appointment of Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun to the United Nations. At the ceremony in New York, Myanmar Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun, Deputy Foreign Minister U Moe Zaw Oo from the NUG government attended and delivered a speech.
Every year in September, U Kyaw Moe Tun’s chair at the United Nations starts to shake. The military council nominates their person every year. We had to campaign to get a seat at the United Nations representing the military council. We considered that U Kyaw Moe Tun will continue this year as in previous years.
