In the previous days, even though there were floods on the road, it was still possible to travel. Now the road is like a tightrope, so all the cars are turning back where they came from. Currently, a few hundred cars are stuck in the section where the road is cut off. It may take a long time to repair that part of the road. The Asian Highway, which is often closed due to fighting, may be suspended for a long time due to this incident in the flow of goods from the Myawady border.
In the lower part of Burma, not only in Karen State, but also on Union Highways in Mon State, the flow of goods is slow due to continuous flooding on the roads due to heavy rains.
