The Film Association under the Military Council has announced that they will be subject to censorship if they shoot Burmese movie series. It’s been a decade since censorship was abolished in Myanmar’s film industry. After the coup, the military council reinstated censorship. At first, only big movies were censored, but now there are also serials. The series has not been censored since its release. Now that it is under the military council, it will have to be censored. Since the coup d’état, the cinema world, which has been unable to recover due to the people’s boycott, is only going to get worse.
