In Yangon, the urban guerilla group that was able to assassinate Lili Naing Kyaw and the group that was able to blow up the tax office in downtown Yangon were arrested one after the other. The military council was following the missions carried out by the UG teams in Yangon, mainly using CCTV. Now the groups were tracked down through CCTV and caught.
Recently, UG groups in Yangon, doing missions in big cities like Mandalay became more difficult. Although the missions were successful, the members did not escape as before, and the number of arrests increased. As mentioned before, cities can be controlled by the Military Council, so their intelligence system can be customized. So it became more difficult for UG teams. Despite these conditions, it is admirable that the mission continues to be achieved. But if you get arrested every time you do something like this, it’s not worth it for the PDF members. I felt sorry for the youth who had been arrested, and I could do nothing but pray and believe that they would be okay.
