Elections are being held in neighboring Thailand. In the current election, Thailand’s democratic forces, the youth-led Move Forward Party and the party of former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin’s daughter, won with the most votes. The military-backed party of the current Thai Prime Minister, Prayuth Chan-ocha, won only a small number of votes. This shows how much the people of Thailand want democracy, just like the people of Burma. Since the democratic forces won the election in Thailand, that scene may have an impact on the revolution in Burma. As Burmese revolutionary forces, we can hope for the best.
