Karen joint forces raided BGF camps in the new city of Shwe-kok-ko, Myawadi township, Karen state early this morning. BGF is under the military. Shwe Kok-ko New City was known as a gambling town which built with Chinese investment in Karen State. The town was controlled by BGF forces. In this morning, two sides were fighting in the places where the gambling houses located. Due to the intensity of the battle, the military council used warplanes to provide reinforcements. About 3,000 residents of the town were fleeing to Thailand by crossing the Thaung-yin river. The exact outcome of both sides was not yet known. In Karen State, the field of operations gradually expanded.
