The resistance forces in the central region of Myanmar are facing a shortage of ammunition. It is especially difficult to buy ammunition, which is essential in a fight.
The shortage of ammunition in Anyang has worsened since the Wa Army announced that it would no longer provide ammunition to other armed groups. Currently, a single bullet costs up to 15,000 Myanmar Kyats (USD4) on the black market. This high price is due to arms brokers playing with the price. As the military commission’s offensive intensifies, it is difficult to even replenish ammunition, a basic requirement for a battle, which is a real pain for the revolutionary forces in Anyang.
