The National Unity Government (NUG) was re-formed today. However, most of the current members are back in office. The re-formed NUG government has not included well-known ministers such as Dr. Sa Sa, U Htin Lin Aung, Daw Khin Ma Ma Myo, and Ma Ei Thin Da Maung.
The new NUG team will continue to include Daw Aung San Suu Kyi as State Counsellor and U Win Myint as President. The difference is that Dr. Zaw Wai Soe has been appointed as Minister of the Union Prime Minister’s Office. Some ministries have been abolished and some have been jointly formed. There is no other difference. The reforms that the NUG calls for are like unsalted rice.
