Local revolutionary forces have twice attacked and destroyed the military convoys that were advancing in full force in Sagaing Region. On the 12th of this month, a joint force attacked a convoy of about 300 soldiers in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region, and the convoy was destroyed and retreated. However, the military convoy replenished its forces and attacked again, resulting in a second fierce battle today, which resulted in the convoy being destroyed and retreating to Kanbalu Town. Over 80 soldiers were killed and weapons and ammunition were seized in the two battles. The revolutionary forces were unable to collect the bodies, so they were given burials.
It is encouraging that the military and the Pyu Saw Htee were able to attack and destroy the military convoys in Kanbalu Region twice. The cooperation between the local revolutionary forces has come a long way. However, this is not enough. We must strive to form a united army to see the final destination.
