The Kandaung Police Station in Pale Township, Sagaing Region has been captured by the revolutionary groups. The attack on the station began on the 2nd of this month and took more than 2 weeks to capture. In the meantime, a military council fighter jet crashed during the battle to capture the station.
The Kandaung Police Station is located on the road to the west of Sagaing Region and is surrounded by two villages in Pyu Saw Htee. The revolutionary groups tried to send reinforcements from those villages, but they were blocked. Now that the police station has been captured, the only remaining military council troops in Pale Township are in Pyu Saw Htee and in Pale town.
