The military council’s Ministry of Labor has changed its policies and delayed the approval of permits for working abroad, causing losses for workers who have been working abroad. Since the end of January 2025, the military council’s Ministry of Labor has restricted and inspected the permission of workers to work abroad. Male workers between the ages of 18 and 35 who have signed contracts to work abroad have been banned from going abroad, while female workers who have signed contracts have not yet been allowed to go abroad, and there are delays. All of them have deposited all their money with the agency, and they have to borrow money with interest on that deposit. Now, they have to find work locally to pay off the interest, and some have even sold their farms and houses. Some want to sell whatever they want and go with legal documents, but there are those who have to go through the dark ages.
Domestically, due to the conscription law and the forced military service, many young people are traveling abroad illegally. Due to the delay in permission to travel abroad, the number of people traveling illegally has increased, costing hundreds of millions of dollars, but many people have also been arrested.
