In Karen State, the KNU and allied forces are quite active. They are capturing military council camps at a rate of one per day. The main ones are the camps on the Thai border. The KNU has blocked all of these camps so that no reinforcements can be sent. Today, the military council sent reinforcements from the Thai side to a camp that was under attack on the Thai border. The reinforcements were also intercepted by the KNU, so they broke their lines and fled back to Thailand. During the fighting on the border, Thailand allows military council troops to send reinforcements through its territory. They are unknowingly helping the military council by accepting the fleeing rebels and handing them over to the government via Myawaddy.
