The revolutionary forces were able to defeat a 200-strong rebel column in Nyaunggyi Township, Mandalay Division. In that battle, more than forty rebels were killed, more than ten were captured, and more than forty weapons were seized. In addition, in Ngathayoke Township near Nyaung U, Bagan, an 80-strong rebel column was attacked until more than 70 were killed.
These battles were the battles in which the rebels suffered the most casualties in Mandalay Division. Previously, rebel columns were defeated in Sagaing Division, but now they have been defeated in Mandalay Division as well. The rebels can only be stationed in cities, and if they advance towards villages where the revolutionary forces are based, they are vulnerable.
