The AA army’s offensive has reached the last defense lines of the military council on the Rakhine border in Magway and Bago Regions. They are simultaneously attacking the Nattwan camp in Magway Region and the Nyaung Zou camp in Bago Region. If these camps are captured, the military council’s weapons manufacturing factories will also fall into the hands of the AA, so the military council is resisting fiercely.
In Ayeyarwady Region, the AA offensive has stopped, so the fighting is currently calm, and some displaced people have returned home. The beaches have reopened, but there are few visitors.
