The electricity supply has increased slightly since the past few days. It is reported that a power line in northern Shan State, where fighting has intensified, has been repaired. In Yangon, electricity has increased from about four hours a day to 12 hours. It is also reported that Yangon is negotiating with entrepreneurs to return the gas turbines to the industrial zones.
However, I do not think this situation will last long. The hot and dry summer is coming. When the summer arrives, the electricity consumption rate will increase dramatically. The military council does not have a clear plan to meet this. When it comes to the end of March or early April, the power outages will be as bad as before.
