Since the beginning of this year, the pace of the revolutionary war has slowed down significantly throughout the country. Since September 2024, a ceasefire has been imposed in northern Shan due to Chinese pressure, but the military council continues to fight in Rakhine and Kachin regions. By the end of 2025, the entire state, including the regional headquarters, has been captured in Rakhine. Therefore, the AA army has only been carrying out bloody battles on the mainland and has stopped major offensives. In Kachin State, the KIA is trying to capture Bhamo, so there has been little military activity in other places. There has been no significant military activity in other major regions, so the pace of the military has come to a standstill in 2025. This is not a good sign for the revolution.
