In fact, it is a shame for the country that China has announced that two armed groups in Burma have agreed to a ceasefire without the relevant armed groups making any announcements. What is worse is that one of the two groups is a military council that has seized state power. China has violated Burma’s sovereignty by committing atrocities. The military council also says that it will do anything to help China maintain its sovereignty. If this pattern is followed, the country will gradually become a subordinate of China.
The MNDAA believes that the ceasefire will be beneficial for both the revolution and the MNDAA. Since the ceasefire agreement has been reached, the military council will not be able to bomb MNDAA-controlled areas from the air without reason. Therefore, it will be free to carry out regional reconstruction and reinforcement. In this way, it is believed that as the MNDAA gains strength, it will be able to support the revolution more. If the military council is not satisfied with this, the agreement will be nullified and major battles will definitely break out again.
