NUG interim president urges exiled cabinet ministers to return home. As China’s interference in the Spring Revolution intensifies, the military council seeks to find a political exit by holding elections in 2025, and the NUG/PDF and other revolutionary forces gain ground, interim president Duwal Shila has urged NUG cabinet members to gather and work at home. This is a timely task. As the revolution gradually gains momentum, NUG members must work from home. Otherwise, it will be a distant government like the NCGUB in 1988. Some ministers are also reported to be planning to return.
The interim president also said that the Spring Revolution has a limited time. It has happened. Even if the military council’s sham election is scheduled for November 2025, there is less than a year left. If the plot changes to an interim government, the time will be even shorter. If NUG is clear about these points, it will be easier to quickly implement what needs to be done.
