Young people who were dragged into the front line are often dying. I have noticed that normal life has changed due to the military council’s brutal recruitment. The closest I can get is that the number of young people sitting in the tea shop in the neighborhood has significantly decreased. In the past, young people around 20 years old would come to the tea shop in groups in the early evening. They would play games, talk, and live a free life. Now, those groups have gradually disappeared. When I asked the tea shop owner, many of them had gone abroad in their own way. Some of them disappeared without a trace. They are no longer as friendly as before. They are not as happy as before. They are afraid of when they will be drafted into the military. This is only a small effect. Now, when I see young people in their 20s and 30s, I often think that they are the victims of the military council. I would rather be in their place.
