At the same time as the battles in Pale Township, Sagaing Region, the Chin Nyinaung group is fighting in Mindat and Falam Townships in Chin State. In the upper Sagaing Region, the battle for Intaw Township is still ongoing. In Rakhine State, the AA is simultaneously attacking Taunggok and Gwe Townships in addition to Ann Township. This shows that although the fighting in northern Shan State has calmed down, there are still rebellions and battles for the capture of towns in other parts of the country. China’s pressure can only affect northern Shan State, where it has the groups it can control. It has no effect on other revolutionary forces.
